The 2027 K2 Mindbender 100 BOA is a versatile freeride boot for intermediate skiers who want the freedom to explore beyond groomed terrain without giving up comfort for everyday resort skiing. Its moderate 100 flex provides supportive downhill performance without the demanding feel of K2's stiffer Mindbender models.
The BOA Fit System replaces the traditional lower-shell buckles with a micro-adjustable dial and cable system that wraps the shell more evenly around the foot. K2 specifically emphasizes improved pressure distribution and reduced pressure points with its BOA boot construction. A MultiFit Last accommodates approximately 97–100mm, while the heat-moldable shell and liner provide additional opportunities to dial in the fit.
What really separates the Mindbender from a conventional resort boot is its uphill capability. The Powerlock Spyne walk mechanism provides 50° of range of motion, giving the skier considerably more mobility for hiking and touring while retaining downhill support when locked into ski mode. GripWalk soles, a FastFit instep and lightweight Powerlite construction round out a boot built for skiers who want resort performance with the option to explore farther.
