The 2027 HEAD Discovery 74 Sport is an approachable frontside/all-mountain ski designed for recreational and progressing skiers who want confidence on groomed terrain without feeling limited as their skills improve.
Its narrow 74mm waist makes the ski quick from edge to edge, while HEAD's wood composite core and Auxetic technology provide a lightweight, forgiving feel with increasing support as the ski is pushed harder. HEAD describes this as a progressive flex—the harder the skier drives the ski, the more support it provides.
Allride Rocker combines 15% tip rocker with 85% camber, helping make turn initiation easy while maintaining dependable edge contact and stability on groomed snow. At 170cm, the Discovery 74 Sport has a 128-74-109mm shape and a short 13m turn radius, giving it an agile, easy-turning personality.
The package includes HEAD PR 11 GW system bindings, featuring PowerRail mounting and compatibility with both traditional Alpine and GripWalk ski boots.
